Behind the Mic: How We Choose Our Topics

People often ask how we decide what to talk about on the show. The truth? It's a mix of curiosity, current events, listener suggestions, and sometimes pure spontaneity.
We start each week with a brainstorming session where nothing is off-limits. We look at what's happening in the world, what conversations we're having in our own lives, and what questions keep us up at night.
Some of our best episodes have come from the most unexpected places. A random conversation at a coffee shop. A news article that made us angry. A listener email that challenged our thinking.
What ties all our topics together is a commitment to honesty and depth. We're not interested in surface-level discussions or hot takes. We want to dig deeper, ask harder questions, and create space for nuanced conversations.
The goal is always the same: to create content that makes you think, feel, and maybe see the world a little differently.
